High-speed IC handler
There are different types of process equipment involving in a semiconductor manufacturing process and the tray used by the equipment differs from one another. Therefore, it is necessary to manually transport the IC semi-manufactured products on to their designated tray so that the operation can continue. Prefactortech has launched the high-speed IC extract-by-spinning machine that could complete the transportation of a single IC within two seconds.

The equipment is mounted with tray-logistics mechanisms able to feed in and out materials automatically. After the work spot is reached, vision systems are used to determine the position of the materials, and then robots are responsible for the automatic transporting operation.

The equipment is mounted with FANUC’s high-speed M2-ia and vision systems able to perform IC tray transporting under high operation speed. After the transporting of the IC is done, conveyor belts will replace the empty tray with the next one.

Test tube dispathing system
There are different types of process equipment in a common test tube examining process in hospitals. Every equipment has its own unique test tube tray and it requires human force to manually transport the test tubes onto different trays for keeping the examining process running. Prefactortech has launched a test tube transporting machine that can complete the transporting process within ten seconds.

The equipment is mounted with tray-logistics mechanisms able to feed in and out materials automatically. After the work spot is reached, the photoelectric detection is used to determine the position of the material, and then robots are responsible for the automatic transporting operation.

The equipment is mounted with Delta’s SCARA 4-axis robot able to transport test tubes from one tray onto another under high operation speed. After the transporting is done, conveyor belts will replace the empty tray with the next one.

Automatic deburring machine
It is usually necessary for products of metal machining industries to undergo deburring processes. Prefactortech released a “modular type” automatic deburring equipment, which incorporates Epson’s 4-axis robot and multi-functional gripper, along with grinding spindle, positioning fixtures, and turning tables. The apparatus can also adjust its angles freely and consists of an automatic feeder in order to cut human resource.

The equipment uses Epson’s LS6 4-axis robot to perform grinding tasks. Equipped with a three-stage rotational tool and a build-in circulation feeder, it is able to overcome blind angle and save space. It also contains an external vacuum dust collection equipment ideal for cleaning aluminum filing and dust efficiently, which makes it suitable for grinding and deburring of all industries.

Automatic grinding system
Products in the automobile and motorcycle industry require deburring very often. Prefactortech released the “modular type” automatic grinding equipment, which incorporates YASKAWA’s 6-axis robot, along with laser calibration tools, grinding spindles, positioning fixtures, and turning tables. This combination allows grinding for different workpieces and saves a lot of human resources.

It becomes extremely difficult to teach a robot when there is a complicated curved surface on the grinding workpiece. To overcome this difficulty, Visual Component is used to generate a perfect grinding track. This track is then loaded into a real robot, and operation continues after three-point calibration.

There is a three-station gripper on a YASKAWA robot with one laser calibrator and two grinding spindles, which are used to perform grinding operations inside and around the workpiece.
